Administrator, graduated in Foreign Trade, with specializations in International Relations, International Negotiations, Compliance and Governance, Government Relations and Political Risks, Masters at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in International Relations and Diplomacy.
Silvia was previously a consultant for Foreign Trade Affairs at WCA Consultoria e Comércio Exterior and directed Sindag/Sindiveg – National Union of the Plant Protection Products Industry, where she served as the main spokesperson and representative of the agrochemical industry.
She participated in the creation of the Green Line, which gave rise to the OAS of the Ministry of Agriculture; drafting and debating various rules, regulations and legislation for the agricultural pesticides sector; the creation of the Special Commission on Phytosanitary Products; the establishment of new rules for Rural Insurance; the Campaign to Combat Illegal Pesticides; the Colmeia Viva Project; tariff changes and trade defense measures, such as the anti-dumping of Glyphosate; Negotiations of various International Trade Agreements and Environmental Treaties.
She was an advisor to Instituto Pensar Agropecuária, Advisor to Instituto Procomex, Vice-president of Amcham’s Foreign Trade Committee, Director of the Department of Agricultural Inputs at Fiesp and member of several Sectorial and Thematic Chambers of the Ministry of Agriculture. She was Executive Director and Speaker for the Project Cultive Biotec, collective project to recognize intellectual property for soybean seeds.
Silvia is a commentator for Canal Rural on Telejornal Rural Notícias debating technical and international topics in Agro. She is also a member of the Business Council for Competitiveness and Business Environment of the Commercial Association of Rio de Janeiro – ACRJ, Executive Secretary of the Associação Mulheres RELGOV+ and member of the Institute of Government Relations (IRelGov).
Silvia is a Partner at Allia Corporate Diplomacy, and was previously the head of ThinkBrasil, where she represents her clients before the Executive and Legislative branches at the federal, state and municipal levels and has used the lives of her channel on Instagram as a transparent advocacy tool.
