Imad Haddara is a seasoned leader in public policy, government relations, and external affairs, with over 25 years of proven success across the Middle East and neighbouring regions. With extensive experience in industries such as tobacco, FMCG, oil and gas, and security, he is a source of talent across the region with a recognized eye for spotting corporate affairs talent, and has consistently delivered innovative strategies to navigate complex regulatory environments, engage stakeholders, and drive impactful outcomes and business development plans.

A significant portion of Imad’s career was dedicated to British American Tobacco (BAT), where he held senior leadership roles, including Senior Engagement Manager – Middle East and Head of Legal & External Affairs for the Levant & Yemen Zone. At BAT, Imad spearheaded transformative initiatives and secured government partnerships to enhance business sustainability and growth. His leadership extended to successfully navigating regulatory and complex excise tax reforms, and securing exceptional operational permissions mainly during the COVID-19 pandemic, underscoring his ability to manage crises and deliver results.
