Position offered:
CRH Materials Polska Group is looking for Corporate and Government Affairs Manager to join their office in Warsaw. The Corporate and Government Affairs Manager will coordinate and lead CRH Poland corporate/government affairs engagement, monitor regulatory and public funding issues and coordinate CRH Poland’s advocacy activities. CRH Poland is looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative team player who can also excel independently. You will work closely with CRH companies in Poland and CRH Office in Amsterdam as well as various national stakeholders.
The Corporate and Government Affairs Manager will provide clear analyses, develop recommendations and coordinate engagement with strategic public stakeholders for CRH Poland. He/ she will actively contribute to the development of CRH Poland’s activities in its critical markets and manage the internal coordination of advocacy actions.
The Corporate/Government Affairs Manager will focus on policies and funding programs that have a direct impact on industry’s competitiveness, defense and Poland critical infrastructures. The selected candidate will be strategic in supporting the development and deployment of CRH Poland advocacy actions and will represent CRH Poland positions in relevant internal and external groups.
Main tasks:
- Policy Monitoring: Establish a network of sources of information and monitor on a regular basis Polish regulations, government strategic orientations, and public funding programs with a direct impact on industry’s competitiveness, defense and Poland critical infrastructures.
- Policy Analysis: Provide accurate assessments and analysis of impacts of emerging regulatory issues on CRH & peers together with proposals for advocacy activities.
- Information sharing: Ensure CRH Poland management team is aware of and understands emerging risks and
- Advocacy and Stakeholder Collaboration: Identify the decision-making process and key stakeholders / influencers on priority issues. Develop and maintain a robust network of contacts with decision makers and stakeholders to support the development and implementation of advocacy efforts towards the relevant Polish institutions. Represent CRH Poland on relevant internal and external fora.
Profile
- A relevant Master’s degree and 8-10 years of professional experience in similar positions.
- Existing knowledge of Polish policies and funding programs, preferably with a direct impact on industry’s competitiveness, defense and critical infrastructures.
- Understanding of key Polish public actors on the above-listed topics is an asset. Ability to establish and coordinate a network of critical stakeholders.
- Understanding of Polish decision- making process.
- Ability to analyse complex legislation and funding programs.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to pitch the message for the audience in a clear and succinct way. Proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Ability to write succinct, clear and accurate policy positions, briefings and presentations.
- Experience in the industry, defense or construction in a public affairs position is a great asset.
- Full professional competence in English.
- An independent individual, self-motivated with team spirit.
