About EuPF
EuPF is a newly created group under the umbrella of EuPC (European Plastics Converters), an association based in Brussels. It represents plastic film extruders in Europe and aims to be the proactive and unified voice for the plastics converting film sector. EuPF strives to drive sustainable practices, shape EU policy, and foster collaboration across the supply chain.
Currently, it includes members from EuPC such as RKW Group, Armando Alvarez Group, Crocco, Ergis Group, and Trioworld – which are the founding members – along with Duoplast and Polivouga, who have recently joined.

Job Description
The successful candidate will independently manage EuPF (European Plastics Films). Reporting to both the EuPC Managing Director and the EuPF Board, the candidate will act as a key interface between EuPF members, the EuPC Secretariat, and external stakeholders, particularly within EU policymaking circles.
Key Responsibilities:
Management of EuPF: Oversee the daily operations of EuPF, ensuring the association’s objectives and strategic priorities are met according to the budget.
Advocacy & Policy Monitoring: Develop and implement an advocacy plans addressing relevant EU regulatory challenges, in close collaboration with EuPF members.
Stakeholder Engagement: Represent EuPF in discussions with EU institutions, industry stakeholders, and other relevant bodies to influence policy outcomes.
Work Programme Development: In coordination with the EuPF Board and the EuPC Managing Director, design a work programme that reflects key regulatory and market developments impacting the sector.
Member Coordination: Act as a liaison between EuPF members, ensuring their interests are represented and providing them with up-to-date policy insights.
Collaboration with EuPC: While independently managing EuPF, maintain appropriate coordination with EuPC staff on advocacy and regulatory topics of mutual interest.
Event & Communication Strategy: Organize relevant meetings, events, and position papers to promote EuPF’s interests at the European level.
Candidate Profile & Required Skills
EuPF is seeking a senior professional with a strong understanding of EU policymaking and regulatory affairs, particularly in sustainability and environmental legislation. The ideal candidate will have several years of EU-level experience in public affairs, advocacy, or association management and hold a relevant university degree.
Key competencies include strategic thinking, excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with members, policymakers, and external stakeholders.
The candidate should be self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently while coordinating with EuPC and the EuPF Board. Fluency in English is required, with other EU languages as an asset.
Additionally, the role requires public speaking abilities for conferences and a strategic mindset to design and implement advocacy programs. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead an independent industry association within the broader European plastics sector framework.
